Spectator tickets and entries for mass participation races at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Bathurst 2023 are now on sale. Taking place across three massive days from February 17-19, the event is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

Heather Lee Attempts W95 1500m World Record

The inspirational Heather Lee (NSW Masters Athletics) will attempt to set a new Women's 95 Years World Masters record in the 1500m, at this weekend's first round of the Treloar Shield.

Treloar Shield returns in 2022/23

Following two difficult years with COVID, Athletics NSW’s club competition, the Treloar Shield, returns for the 2022/23 season. The club competition, which is nearly 100 years old, will include seven rounds this season.

NSW All Schools REVIEW DAY 4: Three of the best ever in the history of the Championships

On the final day of the NSW All Schools Athletics Championships we were treated to a few of the best ever performances in the history of the championships first held in 1936. Ivy Boothroyd recorded the fastest 800m in the history of the championships, while Lizzy McMillen clocked the best ever 5000m walk time and Aiden Princena-White cleared the highest vault in the meet’s history.

NSW All Schools PREVIEW: Internationals return

At next weekend’s 2022 NSW All Schools Athletics Championships eight NSW athletes who have already represented Australia will compete. Two Commonwealth Games team members and six recent World U20 Championships representatives will be back at the NSW Schools, where their international journeys started. Race Walker McMillen claims national junior title

Sydney Pacific’s Lizzy McMillen continued her rise with an outstanding win in the Australian Winter Walking Championships in Melbourne on Sunday. She led a trio of NSW athletes crowned national champions including Sienna Pitcher and Sophie Polkinghorne.
