RevolutioniseSport - Pin Payments
Pin Payments, our preferred gateway, provides our online credit card payment facility for members within Australia and New Zealand who use the RevolutioniseSport platform.
Pin Payments allows you to take payments at the point of registration for membership, events, bookings, shop purchases and more. When members pay via pin payments, their invoices are automatically reconciled, reducing the work of administrators who would otherwise have to manually reconcile the invoice. You can also make payment at the point of purchase mandatory, which reduces the need to chase payments.
Athletics NSW is part of a whole of sport set up, and meaning that membership payments are taken via Pin Payments at the point of registration.

Pin Payments requires that your organisation has an ABN. The ABN is used to verify that you are a legitimate Australian entity and have the appropriate authority to take transactions within Australia. It also acts as a security measure against fraud (i.e. that you are who you say you are).
As a non-profit community organisation, you are eligible to apply for an ABN.
You can apply for an ABN by visiting the Business Registration Service Website. It takes about 10 minutes.

An ABN is often needed when applying for grants and sponsorship. It is also a sound financial and risk management measure and confers unique benefits for your organisation.
No! Not at all. You should obtain proper legal advice if you are concerned about obtaining an ABN, but generally speaking - this does not affect your reporting requirements.
Yes it does. Fees for online payments via Pin Payments are 2.0% + 1.60 AUD per transaction. Of this:
- 2.0% + 0.60 goes to Pin Payments
- 1.00 goes revolutioniseSPORT, and covers ongoing maintenance, development and integration of the payment portal
If your club wants to obsorb part of these transaction fees, then you are able to do so within the RevolutioniseSPORT platform.
Yes. Our payment gateway (Pin Payments) uses an independent encrypted connection to process the payment.
Yes. Payment plans allow members to pay off their unpaid invoices in instalments instead of in one full payment. This can help ease any financial hardships that a member is experiencing whilst also ensuring that the organisation will receive the full amount owed to them through instalments.
The following table outlines the usual settlement times for money deposited in to the clubs nominated bank account, on a given weekday.
These settlement timeframes are to be used as a guide only. Transfers that occur across public holidays may experience a delay of 1-2 business days. Delays may also occur at the hands of the issuing and/or receiving banks, and are outside of revolutioniseSPORT's control.

Yes. The refunds tool allows you to refund payments made online through Pin Payments. There must be recently taken payments online and these funds must not yet have cleared to your bank account. That is so you have money to refund "from".
