Treloar Shield 7 Cancelled

Following investigation and consultation with the Bureau of meteorology, into the current and forecasted temperatures and air quality situation in Sydney, a decision has been made to CANCEL the Treloar Shield 7  scheduled for this Saturday 4th January 2020.

Saturday is forecasted to be an EXTREMELY HOT day and predicted to exceed the maximum temperatures stated in our Heat Policy, to ensure the safe conduct of our competitions.  

There are still active bushfires across NSW and the air quality remains at an extremely hazardous level, Athletics NSW has been monitoring these levels and has made the advanced call that the air quality levels will be to hazardous to ensure safe competition for our athletes, officials and spectators. 

Athletics NSW has considered and gathered all relevant information and has decided this is the best decision to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved, we thank all members for their patience and understanding during this time, and will keep you updated about upcoming competitions!
