RunNSW partners with Love Mercy Foundation for Sydney Half

Hi Runners!

We’re excited to see you on 4th September for the RunNSW 2022 Sydney Half

As the Major Charity Partner for the race, I wanted to reach out to share some information about Well Worth It, one of the main projects at Love Mercy Foundation that is empowering communities in Northern Uganda.

Well Worth It is a water well drilling project that came out of our Social Impact studies in one of our other main projects, Cents for Seeds. Communities in Northern Uganda are provided access to clean water - something that they may not have had before.

Women and children in Africa walk up to 10kms to collect water for their household, several times each day. Often, when they reach the water source, it isn’t even clean.

Well Worth It seeks to provide communities with access to safe, clean water – a basic human right. Our goal for the RunNSW Sydney Half is to raise funds to repair 12 broken wells throughout Northern Uganda.

Can you give a tax-deductible gift this June? Reduce your tax bill and help bring clean water to these vulnerable communities.
