In partnership with AA and NSWIS, the Athletics NSW (ANSW) Centre of Excellence focuses on the importance of ensuring emerging NSW athletes and coaches have acquired all the skills, knowledge, experience and exposure along their athletics journey that will allow them to cope with that pressure, relish opportunities and perform at their best physically, psychologically, and technically when they reach the elite arena.

Operating under a membership-based model the Centre of Excellence is the first stage in a broader Performance and Pathways Plan establishing a new business unit in ANSW that will provide a comprehensive range of programs: Strength and Conditioning (S&C), Sports Science Sports Medicine (SSSM) and Dietician support services to support NSW's aspiring and pre-elite athletes and coaches help achieve their full potential and ensure they are ‘institute ready’.
