Australian Championships Preview: Guide to the competition
For 1109 of NSW’s best athletes, all roads lead to Homebush for the next nine days as the 2022 Australian Track and Field Championships are held. During 77 hours of competition, the athletes will compete in 540 events as they strive for the honour of National Champion. Events will be held for Able Body and Para-Athletes in ages U14 to open.
NSW’s 13 Olympians and four Paralympics, will headline the home state’s team. In addition, on the line during the nine days will be selection in five national teams, Commonwealth Games, World Championships, World University Games, World U20 Championships and Oceania Championships.
