Athletics NSW 2022/23 Memberships Open

The Athletics NSW 2022/23 Membership will provide a fantastic range of benefits to our NSW Athletics community from ages 10 – 80+ years, of every ability, aspiration, and background.

We understand our community has had a challenging time over the past two seasons and we haven’t delivered to our usual standards throughout the entirety of this period. This is at the core of why Athletics NSW is freezing fees on all membership types for the 2022/23 Summer & Winter 2023 Season.

We are once again committing to providing meaningful junior pathways for every child registered with Little Athletics NSW aged 10 – 17 years with our free Dual Membership. This membership allows aspiring young athletes access to all Athletics NSW and club-based competitions, from club nights, interclub-based Treloar Shield, event specialist meets and of course, our premier NSW Championship events, including the NSW All Schools Championships & the NSW Junior Championships.

As for our Open, Concession, Regional⁺ and Community members, prices will remain the same as last season, with the same great benefits too. With a full six-round Treloar Shield series plus the exciting addition of the Treloar Shield Grand Final, NSW Championships, and specialist meets scattered throughout the Summer 2022/23 Calendar on both sides of Christmas, Athletics NSW will be delivering or supporting event delivery of week-in, week-out opportunities to participate in our wonderful sport.

Open and Concession Membership

Open Membership (for athletes aged 20 years and older) and Concession Membership (for athletes aged 10-19 years, and for those who hold a government issued Concession Card):

• Access to all Platinum (NSW Championships), Gold (Albie Thomas Mile & Illawarra Track Challenge), Silver (Treloar Shield & Specialist Meets) and Bronze (Club Meets) throughout Summer 2022/23

• Access to all Winter 2023 Championship events, including all Cross Country Championships, Road Championships, and Relay events

Community Membership - $15

Our best value for money membership with access to all Athletics NSW & RunNSW community & club-level events (including but not limited to Community Track events and Athletics NSW affiliated club events)

As with all our memberships, Community members receive Personal Injury Insurance under the National Insurance Scheme, providing you with the peace of mind that you’re covered when participating in and training for our sport.

You can’t get better value than $15 per year to participate in our wonderful sport, and we hope that this membership offering encourages those people already running and training socially to get involved with Athletics NSW. We welcome people of all ages and ability that may not be actively involved in the Athletics NSW Community or not yet actively involved in athletics and thinking about participating socially and try out the many opportunities and events that our sport has to offer.

Of course our Official and Club Volunteer members - the bedrock of our sport that we simply could not function without - will receive free-of-charge memberships once again this season. We encourage all club volunteers to register for this membership once they are released.
