11 Day Festival of Athletics

In just over a week, we will commence an historic 11-day period of athletics at Homebush where we will conduct four major competitions and see athletes from the age eight competing together at the same venue as Olympians.

The exciting period of athletics is a massive undertaking, and will test our athletes, clubs/centres, coaches and especially technical officials and NSW Athletics staff during the 67 hours, or equivalent of three continuous days of competition.

The 11 days at Sydney Olympic Park Homebush will comprise:

· 128th NSW Open Track and Field Championships (Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd March)

· HART Sport 54th Little Athletics NSW Track and Field Championships - Ages U9-U12 (Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd March)

· NSW Junior Track and Field Championships – Ages 13/U14 to U20 (Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th March)

· Chemist Warehouse Sydney Track Classic (Saturday 15th March)

We will also witness an historic first with the Little Athletics and Open Championships competing together.
