Volunteer Session Registration

The 2021 ACPE NSW Junior Track and Field Championships will once again bring together 1400 of the best junior athletes in NSW over the three days of competition at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.

Sessions 1, 2 and 3 will require volunteers to assist on various field event sits, track event sites, post-event area (medals/athlete control), and other administrative requirements (will be required from the first event of the day).

Sessions 1a, 2a, and 3a will require volunteers to assist on the gate entry, athlete check-in, and any other equipment set-up required in the leadup to the event (will be required from 2 hours prior to the first event of the day).

Volunteers/ Work Experience students will gain experience in the following areas: 

• Athlete Registration & Bib Collection 
• Spectator Control 
• Assisting Athletics NSW in event presentation and delivery 
• Assisting NSW Officials in competition delivery

Session Times:

Friday 12th March
Session 1a - 12:00pm - 7:30pm
Session 1 - 2:00pm - 8:30pm 

Saturday 13th March 
Session 2a - 7:00am - 3:00pm
Session 2 - 9:00am - 4:00pm 
Sydney Track Classic- 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Sunday 14th March
Session 3a - 7:00am - 3:30pm
Session 3 - 9:00am - 4:30pm

All volunteers will be provided with lunch/dinner each day. Water and snacks will also be available throughout the day.
