Competition Status
The Interclub has Athletics Australia Permit Status enabling athletes to qualify for National and International competitions and set state and national records.

Minimum age of entry- 12 years As of December 2021 (LANSW U12 years Dual Aged Athlete)
Program will be open to Open Members, Concession Members and Dual Members.

Entering Seed Marks (TIMES/DISTANCES)
You will be asked to enter your 'Qualification Mark' which is ideally a season best performance for each event which enables us to enter you into the correct division.
Please be sure to enter this in the CORRECT FORMAT as indicated;
Times; M=minute, S=second, TS=Tenth of a second, HS=Hundreth of a second
Distances; M=Meter, CM=centimeter
- SS.TSHS for a Sprint should look like 11.03
- MM:SS.TSHS for a long distance event looks like 2:32.45
- MM.CMCM for a throw needs to be entered like 12.52
- M.CMCM for a Height/ Distance jumps event should be entered like 1.23
Events
Track: 100, 200, 400m, 800, 1500m Walk, 3000m Walk, Sprint Hurdles, Long Hurdles
Field: High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump (Invitational), Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw (Invitational)
Selection Process for Invitational Javelin and Invitational Triple Jump
All athletes registering for the Invitational Javelin and Invitational Triple Jump will need to put down a recent seed distance.
For both invitational events, the top 5 Female and top 5 Male athletes, based on seed distance, plus the next best 5 seed distances (regardless of gender) will be selected to make up the 15 available spots in each event.
In the case that an athlete registers for one of the invitational events (and no other supporting event/s at the Mingara Interclub), but is not selected for the event, Athletics NSW will refund their entry fee.
Athlete Check In
All athletes will need to report to athlete check-in at least one (1) hour prior to the start of thier event.
Age Groups
Athletes compete as open athletes and will be placed in events based on ability (track events and jump) and according to weight division in throws events.
