$5 General Admission / $7 Stadium Tickets per day
Children under 5 years of age do not have to purchase a ticket to enter
All competitors will be allowed free entry each day of the Championships that they are competing.
All coaches financial with Athletics NSW this season will be sent a pre-registration form to complete, in order to get free entry to the venue.

Competition Status
The NSW Athletics Championships has Athletics Australia Permit Status enabling athletes to qualify for National and International competitions and set state and national records.
Entry
$25 per event.
Entering Seed Marks (TIMES/DISTANCES)
You will be asked to enter your 'Qualification Mark' which is ideally a season best performance for each event which enables us to enter you into the correct division.
Please be sure to enter this in the CORRECT FORMAT as indicated;
Times; M=minute, S=second, TS=Tenth of a second, HS=Hundreth of a second
Distances; M=Meter, CM=centimeter
- SS.TSHS for a Sprint should look like 11.03
- MM:SS.TSHS for a long distance event looks like 2:32.45
- MM.CMCM for a throw needs to be entered like 12.52
- M.CMCM for a Height/ Distance jumps event should be entered like 1.23
Uniform
Athletes must wear their senior club uniform with their 2020-21 registration bibs attached front and back.
Event Entry Rules
Athletes in the 12 & 13 year age groups must not compete in the following events: 500m, 200m Hurdles (13years exempt), 400m Hurdles, Steeplechase, 5000m walk
Athletes ar not permitted to compete in more than one age group in the same event. Athletes who wish to compete up an age group may do so (providing they are eligible, see above rule) but are not permitted to also compete in their own age group. Example: a 17 years boy may compete in the 19 years shot put however cannot also compete in the 17 years shot put. For the purpose of this rule the following events are considered to be the same event: 3000m & 5000m; straight hurdles; 200m Hurdles & 400m Hurdles 3000m Walk & 5000m Walk.
Field Attempts
In field events in the the Open, U20, and U18 age groups except for the High Jump and Pole Vault, each athlete will be allowed three trials and the eight athletes with the best valid performances will be allowed a further three trials. In field events in the U17, U16, U15 & U14 age groups, except for the High Jump and Pole Vault, each athlete will receive three trials and the eight athletes with the best valid performance will receive 1 further attempt. Competition management may reduce the number of attempts if circumstances require.
Para-Athletes
Results will be determined as a percentage of the Athletics Australia multi disability scoring tables for each athlete’s classification in the Under 15, Under 17 and Under 20 age categories. Any athletes who do not have an official classification as per the Classification Master List will compete as an exhibition athlete and will not be eligible for medals.
On the Day Check-in
Athletes must report to Athlete Check-In at least 60 minutes before the start of each of their events to confirm their entry. Athletes are encouraged to check-in at the commencement of each day for all of their events for that day.
Athletes will receive their competition numbers when they check-in for their first event, on their first day of competition.
There will be no announcements made for events. All Athletes will be expected to be present at their event sites:
TRACK events; 10 minutes prior to the start time according to the FINAL Timetable
FIELD events; 20 minutes prior to the start time according to the FINAL Timetable
Field Site Volunteers
To allow this event to occure we will need a large amount of volunteers. If your child is competing in field events and you are available to assit- please register which events you are able to assist.
Benefits of volunteering:
- Front row seats at your childs event
- Free entry into the venue for that particular session
There are limited spots available per event so get in quick!
Event Entry Edits
If you have any event changes- please email competitions@nswathletics.org.au. There will be no additions or changes to events once entries have closed.
Please note- there will be no refunds for withdrawing from competition as per the event waiver.
Spectator Entry
To meet NSW Health COVID-Safe protocols, a ticketing system is in place for this year's event, to ensure that we meet venue capacity limits. Registered athletes will entry into the venue will be complimentary, however all spectators (including parents and guardians) will be required to purchase a ticket to the venue.

$5 for Grassed Area
