Competition Entry

Competition Status
The NSW Club Championships has Athletics Australia Permit Status enabling athletes to qualify for National and International competitions and set state and national records.

Athletes must be registered with an ANSW Affiliated Club for the 2020/21 Season. 

Uniform
ANSW Club Members must wear their correct senior club uniform. Athletes must have their Athletics NSW 2020/21 registration numbers attached to the front and back (except in jump events). 

Age Groups
Junior U18- 100m, 400m, 1500m, 4x100m, Long Jump, Shot Put 
Open- 100m, 400m, 1500m, 4x100m, Long Jump, Shot Put 
Masters 45+- 100m, 400m, 1500m, 4x100m, Long Jump, Shot Put 

Team Composition
Clubs will be allowed to field teams of the following composition.

Junior U18- 6 Individual positions plus relay
Open- 6 Individual positions plus relay
Masters 45+- 6 Individual positions plus relay

Team compositions have minumum and maximum limits. The following team number limits are as follows: 

Junior U18- 4-6 Athletes
Open- 4-6 Athletes
Masters 45+- 4-6 Athletes
A team must start with the minimum number of athletes for their age division. 

On The Day Check-in
Team Managers will need to provide competition management with a list of athletes in each team 60 minutes before the start of the first event for that age group. Team managers are not required to list what athlete is competing in each event.
