Event Description

The Community 5km will be your PERFECT opportunity to break that elusive 5K Parkrun PB - and what better time to do so than in January to kick off your 2020!

To be held at the famous Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre - home of the Sydney 2000 Olympics - come write your own history in the Community 5K on the famous blue track!

All races will be graded to ensure that you are running with people of your own ability and the events are open to people of all ages and at all levels, commencing at 6pm.

We hope to have enough entrants to have multiple races, making sure that you're running with those of a similar ability to you, to give you the best chance of running a PB!

Eligibility

The event is open to both members and the general running community - everyone is welcome to participate in the Community 5km TrackRun!

Members of Athletics NSW and Dual members can enter at a discounted member rate. Athletics NSW members must wear their senior club uniform and their 2019/20 competition numbers on the front and back. Community Runners will be supplied temporary numbers at athlete check in.

An entry list of all runners, including what 5000m run you will be seeded into, will be published here after 9am, Wednesday 22nd January (once online entries have closed).

Runner Check In
All runners will need to report to athlete check-in at least one (1) hour prior to the start of thier event.
