EVENT INFORMATION

Date: 1st February 2025

Location: Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre

Cost: $20.00 per supporting event.

Eligible Age Groups: OPEN (minimum age group 15’s (U16) – Local NSW events will support the Short Track Championships. Entries will be by nomination, with fields capped

Permit status:  This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Athletics Australia.

Athletics NSW will be selecting fields in the 400m Hurdles (M&W), 100m (M&W), 1500m (M&W) that will complement the National Short Track Championships events.

EVENT PERMIT

This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Athletics Australia. Athletes can qualify for international and national competition, accumulate World Athletics ranking points, break Athletics NSW and Athletics Australian records, and have their performances added to World Athletics top lists. 

World Athletics Rankings

This meet will also be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.
