Cost: $15.00 per clinic

Spaces Available:  12 to 16 in each clinic

Closing: Sunday 6 October 2024 at 12.00pm  (unless maximum numbers are reached earlier).

CLINIC 1: HURDLES STARTER CLINIC

For athletes who have never done hurdles, have just started or would benefit from instruction in the basics.

Time: 10.30am - 11.30am (Arrival 10.20am for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 8s to 11s age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2014 - 2017).

Cost: $15.00

CLINIC 2: HURDLES DEVELOPMENT CLINIC

For athletes who are familiar with hurdles, know the basics of running to and over the hurdles, and are looking to advance their skills.

Time: 11.45am - 12.45pm (Arrival 11.35am for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 10s to 17s age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2008 - 2015).

Cost: $15.00

CLINIC 3: JAVELIN STARTER CLINIC

For athletes who have never done javelin, have just started, or would benefit from instruction in the basics.

Time: 1.15pm - 2.15pm (Arrival 1.05pm for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 11s to 12s age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2013 - 2014).

Cost: $15.00

CLINIC 4: JAVELIN DEVELOPMENT CLINIC

For athletes who are familiar with javelin, know can perform a basic grip and delivery, and are looking to advance their skills.

Time: 2.30pm - 3.30pm (Arrival 2.20pm for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 12s to 17s (U18) age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2008 - 2013).

Cost: $15.00

Members from any affiliated centre are welcome to register for these coaching clinics.

Please note that athletes must only be registered for and attend clinics designated for their specific age group.

To ensure your child gets the most out of a clinic, please select the level that best matches their current skills and experience. Choosing the appropriate level will help them fully engage with the content and make meaningful progress in a supportive environment. If unsure, begin with a  "starter" clinic to build confidence before advancing.

Parents and other onlookers are encouraged to get up close to the action to listen and learn.

Refund Policy: There will be a $5 admin fee for withdrawal before the closing date. There will be no refund after the closing date unless participants are required to withdraw from the event due to illness or are required to self-isolate for COVID-related reasons. Other extenuating circumstances may be considered on an individual basis.
