Venue: Vince Inmon Sporting Complex, 29 Lake St, Laurieton

Coach: Darren Wensor, Little Athletics NSW Regional Development Officer, Level 4 coach, 35 years coaching experience

Cost: $15.00 to $20.00

Spaces Available:  12 to 16 in each clinic

Closing: Sunday 6 October 2024 at 12.00pm  (unless maximum numbers are reached earlier).

CLINIC 1: JUNIOR CLINIC - RUN, JUMP, THROW

Time: 9.00am - 10.15am (Arrival 8.50am for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 6s to 7s age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2018 - 2019).

Content: Participants will receive instruction in fundamental sprinting, long jumping & shot putting skills.

Cost: $15.00

CLINIC 2: INTERMEDIATE CLINIC - SPRINTS & LONG JUMP

Time: 10.45am - 12.15pm (Arrival 10.35am for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 8s to 11s age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2014 - 2017).

Content: Participants will receive instruction in:

• Effective sprinting technique & acceleration skills.
• Long Jump take-off, flight & landing skills.

Cost: $20.00

CLINIC 3: SENIOR CLINIC - SPRINTS & TRIPLE JUMP

Time: 1.00pm - 2.30pm (Arrival 12.50pm for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 12s to 17s (U18) age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2008 - 2013).

Content: Participants will receive instruction in:

• Effective sprinting technique & acceleration skills.
• The fundamentals skills of triple jumping.

Cost: $20.00

Members from any affiliated centre are welcome to register for these coaching clinics. Non-members are also welcome to come & try. Athletes of all abilities are welcome.

Please note the age group eligibility.

Parents and other onlookers are encouraged to get up close to the action to listen and learn.

Refund Policy: There will be a $5 admin fee for withdrawal before the closing date. There will be no refund after the closing date unless participants are required to withdraw from the event due to illness or are required to self-isolate for COVID-related reasons. Other extenuating circumstances may be considered on an individual basis.
