LITTLE ATHLETICS NSW SPRINTS & STARTS COACHING CLINIC AT INVERELL

Venue: Inverell Sporting Complex Athletics Field, Eucalypt Dr, Inverell

Coach: Darren Wensor, Little Athletics NSW Regional Development Officer, Level 4 coach, 35 years coaching experience

Cost: $20.00

Spaces Available: 16 in each clinic

Closing: Sunday 29 September 2024 at 12.00pm  (unless maximum numbers are reached earlier).

During the sessions, the athletes will receive instruction in:

• Effective sprint technique

• Acceleration skills

• Starting skills incl. crouch starts if applicable

Tips will also be provided about ways to develop running speed capabilities.

CLINIC 1: JUNIOR CLINIC 

Time: 9.30am - 11.00am (Arrival 9.20am for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 8s to 10s age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2015 - 2017).

CLINIC 2: SENIOR CLINIC

Time: 11.30am - 1.00pm (Arrival 11.20am for check-in).

Ages Groups: Children in the 11s to 17s (U18) age groups for the 2024/25 season (i.e. born 2008 - 2014).

Members from any affiliated centre are welcome to register for this coaching clinic. Non-members are also welcome to come & try. Please note the age group eligibility.

Parents and other onlookers are encouraged to get up close to the action to listen and learn.

Refund Policy: There will be a $5 admin fee for withdrawal before the closing date. There will be no refund after the closing date unless participants are required to withdraw from the event due to illness or are required to self-isolate for COVID-related reasons. Other extenuating circumstances may be considered on an individual basis.
