Any registered athlete can win the National title, whereas only those athletes selected by a Member Association can be included in the Teams Championship.

The 2024 Sydney Marathon is thrilled to be hosting the 2024 Australian Marathon Championships on Sunday 15th September 2024. Please find below the entry information and timelines:
Eligibility
This Nomination Portal is stricly for NSW Athletes who want to be selected for the NSW Marathon State Team to compete at the Australian Marathon Championships. Each State and Territory Member Association can select up to six male and six female representatives with the top three finishers in each team scoring points towards their state team result. Successful athletes are strongly encouraged to compete in NSW State Uniform.
A prerequiste to enter is ensuring you have satisfied the qualification times.
