This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Athletics Australia, in the 3000m A & B Race only and A & B Race of the 800m. Athletes competing in the A & B Race can qualify for international and national competition, accumulate World Athletics ranking points, break Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia records, and have their performances added to World Athletics top lists. 

C Race and subsequent races will be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.

Competition Rules

Given the status of this event as a World Athletics permit, is essential to note that TR 5 (shoe compliance) will be enforced for the Championships (A & B Races) in the Men’s and Women’s 3000m and the A & B Races in the Men’s and Women’s 800m. If you are competing in these events please ensure that you have compliant shoes.
Athletes competing in the 3000m C-L Races and the C races in the 800 will not be subject to TR5 and may wear footwear of their choice.

Getting There

• Public Transport

Athletics NSW strongly suggests Athletes consider their travel options, in particular utilising the plentiful public transport in the area. Buses and Light Rail run regularly from Central Station and this will be the easiest way to access the venue. • Parking - Car Parking

There is no on-site parking available at ES Marks. There is limited on street parking available in the streets surrounding ES Marks, and there may be a long walk from any available street parking. If you plan to drive, we suggest car pooling and arriving early to ensure any delays do not impact your experience on event day. There are also Secure Parking carparking stations within 1.5kms of the venue. See details HERE

• Accessible Parking

Limited Accessible parking is available for a person with a NSW Government issued accessible parking accreditation. This can be accessed from Dacey Ave (near the Child Care Centre). 

Venue Access

The main venue access is via the gates in Boronia Street, off Anzac Pde. Patrons requiring accessible access (wheelchairs, prams etc) will need to proceed to Dacey St. 

Bib Collection

You are required to collect your bib number at least 60 minutes before your race start, so ensure you plan your journey appropriately.
Bib collection will be located at the ticketing booth as you walk into the venue.
