Late Entry

The Australian Junior (U13-U18) Track and Field Championships (including U15-U17 Para and Combined Events). Will be held at the Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre from Thursday 13th - Sunday 16th April 2023.

In order to be eligible for the NSW Team, all Junior athletes must compete at the 2023 NSW Junior Championships being held from the 24th-26th February 2023. If you require an exemption please refer to the FAQ

Entry

Before completing your entry, please ensure that you have read the Athletics NSW Selection Criteria and Policy.

Athletes may only enter events in a maximum of two age groups, with the exception of U13 and U14 athletes who may enter the same events in both the U15 age group. 

• No athlete may enter the same or similar events within the U15 and U16 age groups
• No athlete may enter the same or similar events within the U17 and U18 age groups

Entries for para-athletes in underage events will be accepted in a universal age group (Under17). Where there are at least three athletes confirmed for an age group in any event a separate championship event will be conducted. If an athlete is competing out of their age group, throwing implements will be based on their age. 

Athletics NSW Selection Criteria and Policy

Team Levy and Entry Fees

The NSW State team levy is a one off fee of $105.00. 

The Athletics Australia event entry fee is $90.00 per athlete per event. 

There will be a team physiotherapist attending for the duration of the event, along with several NSW State Team Managers.
