This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Athletics Australia, so athletes can qualify for internationals and national competition, accumulate World Athletics ranking points, break Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia records, and have their performances added to World Athletics top lists.
The event is delivered by Illawong Athletics Club under the silver tier of Athletics NSW competition Structure.
