The Level 3 Performance Development Coach Course is for coaches who are working with athletes between 15 and 21 years of age and are looking to commence specialisation in a chosen event group and compete at regional, state or national-level competitions.

The Level 3 Performance Development Coach Course is a four day course broken down into two separate courses. All coaches wishing to obtain their Level 3 accreditation are required to complete Day 1 and Day 2 before registering for Day 3 and Day 4 which are event group specific (e.g. Sprints and Hurdles, Middle and Long Distance, Jumps, Throws, Recreational Running and Racewalking.

Please note if you are a Level 2 Advanced Coach in a specific event to become a Level 3 Coach you will just need to attend Days 1 & 2 and complete the relevant online assessment tasks. The focus of the course will be on planning and achieving long-term development of athlete performance, with an eye for establishing positive training habits that will prepare athlete for the elite pathway.

Eligibility:
Coaches who are currently financial with Athletics Australia and have held Level 2 Club Coach Accreditation OR Level 2 Recreational Running Accreditation for a minimum of 6 months.

Date: Saturday 8 October 22 (Day 1) and Sunday 9 October (Day 2) 2022

• Day 1 - 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
• Day 2 - 9.00 am to 4.30 pm

RPL Applications:

RPL Applications Coaches are now able to apply for RPL for any level online to make the process easier for coaches who already hold the expected competencies of a given level of accreditation.
