COMPETITION RULES & POLICIES
Permit Status and Seeding
Seeding for the Albie Thomas Mile men's and women's races will be based on 1,500m times from 1 January 2020 onwards. Those athletes who do not qualify for the A race will be seeded in B and subsequent races.
With regard to seeding, any athlete wishing to be considered for the A race must provide a URL link to the result upon which they wish to rely to prove their form as part of the entry process. If no link is provided, the athlete will not be considered for the A race. In the event that any athlete is found to be providing a false PB or SB standard, that athlete will not be considered for any A race at any Sydney Milers Series meet for a period of two years. This has unfortunately been necessitated by a number of athletes previously having attempted to provide false qualification information.
Performances at the event will be recognised for national qualification purposes and the meet will be run under AA permit conditions.
