WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE...

When you arrive, you will be required to scan your ticket for entry to the venue. Tickets can be printed or scanned from your smart phone.

Tip: turn the screen brightness up on your phone to make scanning easier.

All athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers will be issued with a three-day-pass which will give you access to SOPAC for the duration of the competition. Tickets will be distributed by Ticketebo via email by Friday, 25th February.

Tip: save ‘orders@ticketebo.com.au’ to you address book so your ticket doesn’t end up in your junk mail 😊

Please note, there will be no ticket sales at the gate. Specatators must purchase online via the link above 👆🏼

Once you’re inside

On your first day of competition, you will need to collect your bib. Bib Collection & Athlete Check-In is just to the left as you enter the venue. There QR codes on the back of your bib which will take you to the timetable, live results, FAQs, merch courtesy of Valour, and our live stream presented by Clutch TV.

Remember to bring your bib with you every day! Replacement bibs are $5 each and available from the Bib Collection Point.

TRACK athletes must check-in at least 60 minutes before the scheduled start of your first event. There is no check-in for FIELD events.

Tip: you can collect your bib and check-in in any order (as long as you do both!), so head to the shortest queue when you arrive 😊

If you are using a private implement for field events, you need to check them into the Technical Shed, which is located near Bays 1 & 2 and the 100m start line (signage will be located in this area). Implements will be needed to be checked in ninety (90) minutes prior to the start time of the relevant field event.

Before your event

The warm-up track will be open for the duration of the competition. Once you’ve entered the Main Arena, access to the warm-up track will be clearly sign-posted.

Remember to head to the start line of all track events 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and to field sites 20 minutes before your event.

If you have any timetable clashes you will need to self-manage this. Please let an official know your circumstances and they will be happy to assist.

After you compete

Please exit the competition arena via the Marathon Tunnel (near the finish line) after the completion of your event.

Unfortunately, due to COVID protocols there will be no medal presentations this year. Once the results for your event have been posted online, if you have placed in the top three you can collect your medal from the forecourt, where you collected your bib. The dais will be available for photos!
