We are working with venues and co-host clubs and hope to reschedule Team Walks/Long Walks and hope to share details with our members soon. Please refer to our website for regular updates.
Athletics NSW endeavours to run this event as planned, however due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation afftecing Greater Sydney, this may not be possible.
We thank the race walking community for their patience and support as we navigate these uncertain times.
The 2021 NSW Long Walks Championship will feature the following age groups and distances:
- Open Men - 30km
- Open Women - 20km
- U20 Men - 20km
- U20 Women - 15km
- Masters Men & Women - 15km
- U18 Men & Women - 8km
- U16 Boys & Girls - 5km
- U14 Boys & Girls - 3km
- U12 Boys & Girls - 2km
Eligibility
NSW Road Walking Championships are open to ANSW Members only (Open, Concession, Dual)
Entry Fees
The standardised entry fee of $25 will apply for all ages and disciplines.
Age Group Determination
Will be based on age at 31st December 2021 I.e. if you turn 15 this year, you will be in the U16 age group.
Medal Presentation
Medals will be presented on the day, as and when results are finalised.
