CG Day 2 – Eleanor Patterson reclaims high jump title 12-year on
Overcoming a rain interrupted competition, with a near perfect competition sheet, Eleanor Patterson has won the women’s Commonwealth Games high jump title over world champion and NSW teammate Nicola Olyslagers. Eleanor cleared an equal Games record height on 1.96m.

Commonwealth Games Team Preview
Monday night, the Athletics program at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games kicks off at 7.10pm with the men’s 100m. The scheduled 400m hurdles heats, which feature our own Matthew Hunt, have been cancelled the first round when the entry numbers dropped to 24. Hunt will now start his campaign on Thursday morning AEST.
