It’s true that there is no off season in Athletics, however rarely has the calendar been as busy as the last month or so. 

Firstly, if you haven’t yet voted in the People’s Choice Award, please hurry!  Voting closes on Thursday morning, with the winner to be unveiled at the ANSW Annual Awards Dinner on Friday night.  Voting is through the app and can be done by downloading the app for free via the app store or Google Play. Vale - Geoffrey Martin OAM

We are terribly saddened to inform the athletics family that Geoffrey Martin OAM has passed away.

Among his many accolades, Geoffrey was a Life Governor of Athletics Australia and a Life Member of Athletics NSW. He had officiated at athletics events since the 1970s at every level, including the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, the IAAF World Championships and countless IAAF circuit meets, while being a permanent fixture at all level of meets in Australia and NSW.

Vale: The Last hurdle for Fira Dvoskina

Fira Dvoskina may have only arrived in Australia 22 years ago, but she has in that short time made a significant impact on hurdling and sprinting in our country. Sadly, Fira passed away in Sydney yesterday afternoon, aged 83, after battling Myeloma in recent years.
