The 64th NSW women’s heptathlon championships has lived up to expectations and more, as we build up towards the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. A young group of five all rounders have battled through the seven events over two days to re-write the records books.

Combined event women to target Commonwealth Games standard

Home Games effect. That is what we will see on show this weekend at the NSW women’s heptathlon championship. The field includes three of the top-20 Australian athletes of all-time, with two aged 18 and 20 and at the start of their journey. The tremendous depth and quality helped by the lure of a home Games.

November Chairman's Message

A lot has been happening since my last communication a few weeks ago. 

On Track and Field there have been many highlights:

The State Relays were the best I have to for a long time.  The friendly rivalry, the atmosphere, the performances, and the commitment (not the least being Jay Stone hiring a bus and driver, to drive his team of 40 from Armidale and booking accommodation next to Silverwater Gaol...).
