The Waratah Run Series is a rebranded and remodelled set of XC, road races and relays events. These events are for participants of all ages and abilities, and focus on participant enjoyment and on the day entertainment. Formally known as the ‘Athletics NSW Winter Series’, the Waratah Series is a community based social event incorporating a championship component.
The 2018 NSW Long Walks Championships will be hosted by the NSW Race Walking Club at Angle Park in Chipping Norton.

HOW TO ENTER
Enter online here. Online entries close 9am Wednesday 25th July 2018.
On the day entry is available at the registration desk. An on the day entry must be submitted at least 30 minutes before the start of the race.
Members are to be registered with Athletics NSW (or other state member association) for the 2017-18 season and wear their club uniform with their bibs worn front and back for the duration of the event.
Non-members simply enter and race and will be provided with a competition bib and timing tag at athlete check in.
Members who have entered online are not required to report to athlete check-in.
All non-members must report to athlete check in at least 30 minutes prior to the race start time to collect your race bib.

The Long Walks is conducted in the Masters, Open, U20, U18 and U16 and U12 age groups.
Individual medals will be awarded at the conclusion of the races.
