Welcome to the Athletics NSW online entry site for the 2013 Australian Cross Country Championships to be contested in Tasmania on Saturday 31st of August 2013.
Athletes that wish to nominate for the NSW team should apply.
The Selection Criteria can be found here. Athletes must read this criteria before submitting their nomination.
Team nominations close by the end of business on 9th August and will be announced by August 16th.
Symmons Plains Motor Raceway, located approx 30km South of Launceston.
Athletes should be aware that travel and accommodation arrangements are up to the individual to organise. Athletes should not make non refundable travel arrangements until they have been selected in the team
All members of the NSW team (including reserves/emergency athletes) are required to compete in the current NSW uniform at the Championships. These are available to purchase from Athletics NSW through the Online Shop on www.nswathletics.org.au or by contacting Athletics NSW on (02) 9746 1122.
Athletes selected as an Additional Competitor in the Under 20 and Open age groups shall compete in their club uniform.
The following age groups will be contested, Open, U20, U18, U16 and U14.
In the U18, U16 & U14 team, a limit of six (6) Athletes will be selected. (these athletes will be different from the School Sport team selected from the All Schools Cross Country)
In the Open and U20 age group, Athletics NSW will select a team of six (6) point scoring athletes, and as many reserves as the selectors decide. Other athletes may compete as additional competitors (AC). All athletes (including additional competitors), must nominate through this process.
Entry & Administration Cost
A small levy (cost TBA) will be payable to cover the cost of the Athletics Australia entry fee and administration costs. Please note that no payments are to be made now. Payments will be made once the team is selected.
