Hunter Winter Series (Incorporating the Athletics NSW Pre Departure Series)

This is now the FIRST of the TWO part Hunter Winter Series. The event will be run to IAAF regulations and can be used for pre-departure standards, rankings and records. Athletics NSW welcomes new athletes as trialing athletes and registered athletes. Photo finish timing will be in use. ONLINE ENTRY AVAILABLE - CLOSES 12PM FRIDAY  

On the day entry will be available until 45 minutes before the event time.

11:30am long jump (4.00m entry standard)
11:45am 60m skins 
11:55am 200m

Entry Fees

$10 per athlete payable on the day or via online entry. Athletes are asked to wear their club uniform and to wear their current registration numbers. New athletes will be provided with temporary numbers for the day. 

Check In

All athletes must check in before their event. This must be done within 30minutes of the scheduled start time of your event. Athletes then report to their event area either 10 minutes before the start time (track events) or 25 minutes before (field events). 

Rules of Competition 

A document which outlines the rules for this competition can be downloaded in PDF form below. As a guide all track races up to 800m will be run as men's or women's events. Throws and jumps will be run as mixed with published results separated. 

Special note - 60m skins. The skins competition shall be graded depending on entries. Athletes run 3-4 consecutive heats 2 minutes apart with slowest athletes eliminated from each heat. Detailed rules appear in the PDF download.
