Mingara Permit Meet for Saturday the 15th February. Photo Finish will be in use and a wind gauge used for long jump and 100m. Results may be used for National Rankings and qualifying for National Events. The timetable is below:
8:30am - Venue opens for warm ups
9:00am - Registration opens
9:15am - Javelin Throw
9:30am - 100m
9:45am - Long Jump
10:00am - 800m
10:20am - 2x200m relay
10:30am - 3000m
The meet is open to all registered members aged 10 to masters. Unregistered athletes may complete a temporary member form.
Cost: $8:00 per athlete (unlimited events)
The 100 and 800 races shall be seeded according to ability and run as either men/boys or women/girls. The 3000m and 200 relay shall be a mixed races.
Athletes in the long jump and javelin throw shall be permitted 6 attempts only if they meet the performance standard below in their first THREE attempts;
Long jump men: 5.00m
Long jump women: 4.00m
Javelin men: 40m
Javelin women: 35m
Athletes are asked to wear their current ANSW competition numbers. Those without numbers will be issued temporary numbers on the day.
