Welcome to the event page for the Athletics NSW 10,000m, and the first meet of the 2018/19 Sydney Milers Club Series, co-hosted by the Bankstown Sports Athletics Club. The first meet of the SMC will kick off from 5:30pm with the 800m, followed by the 1,500m, before culminating in the main event of the evening, the 2018 NSW 10,000m Championships.
This event is open to all athletes, of all ages, abilities, and aspirations for running a PB! Whether you're gunning for the state title, or want to get out and beat your time set at the Sydney10, this is the 10k for you!
SMC races, including the 10,000m, will be seeded based on performance, not age - please check the start lists to confirm which race/when you will be running.
SMC races, including the 10,000m, have Athletics Australia Permit Status enabling athletes to qualify for National and International competitions and set state and national records.

The event is open to both members and the general public. Members of Athletics NSW and Little Athletics NSW can enter at a discounted member rate.
Athletics NSW members must wear their senior club uniform and their 2018/19 competition numbers. Non-members will be supplied temporary numbers at athlete check in.
All athletes will need to report to athlete check-in at least one (1) hour prior to the start of their event.
This can be done either at the check-in desk at the venue, or via the ANSW app (see pre-event email for details on the ANSW app, which will be sent out no later than 5pm, Wednesday 3rd October, 2018.

Entry fees are $20 online (plus processing fee). Entries will close at 9am, Wednesday 3rd October, 2018.
Late entries will be only accepted if positions exist in the most appropriate race for the athlete. Late entry into the Championship is not guaranteed and if accepted will cost $35. The decision of the Athletics NSW Competition Manager is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The SMC program will commence from 5:30pm with the 800m, followed by the 1,500m, with the main event of the evening to be the 10,000m (incorporating the NSW 10,000m Championship). A final timetable will be published closer to the event.
