This event is permitted by Athletics Australia (AA). An AA permit allows athletes to qualify for international events and break state and/ or national records.
Athletes must be registered with an Athletics NSW affiliated club for the 2016/17 season. If you are not currently registered with a club you can register online here. Interstate athletes who are registered members of their state organisation are welcome to enter.
Registered Athletics NSW club members must wear their correct club uniform. Athletes must have their Athletics NSW 2016-17 registration numbers attached on the front and back (except in pole vault and high jump events).
Events on offer:
200m, 400m, 1500m, 3000m, long hurdles (200m/400m), high jump, men's triple jump, long jump, hammer throw.
10000m walks as NSW Championships. The 3000m is now available for both men and women.
Online entry is available here. Entries will close Thursday February 9, 2017 at midnight.
Online entries have now closed, but on-the-day registration is available.
All Comers: participants are to enter online at an entry cost of $10 for members and $15 for non-members. The entry fee is for unlimited events. On the day entry is available. On the day entry will incur a higher fee of $15 for members and $20 for non-members. On the day entry must be completed one (1) hour prior to the athlete’s first event
NSW 10 000m Walks Championships will be $20 per entrant. On the day entry will be $35 per entrant, and must be completed one (1) hour prior to the event commencing.

Please note that due to expected high temperatures the events have all been delayed 2 hours. The new competition start time is 5pm.
On the Day Check-in
All athletes in TRACK events must report to athlete check in to advise of their intention to compete at least sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled starting time of the event.
Athletes entered in FIELD events only, are not required to report to athlete check in. Instead, field event athletes must report directly to the field event site at least twenty (20) minutes before the scheduled start time.
10 000m Walks Championships
Athletes can compete in the U20, open and master's age groups. Junior and open age groups will be calculated by age as of December 31, 2017.
Masters age groups will be held in 5 year age-brackets, e.g. 30-34, 35 - 39 through to 85+. Master's age groups will be calculated as per master's rules, i.e.age you are on the date of competition (February 11, 2017).
NSW Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group, per gender, inclusive of top 3 NSW placegetters.
