The Hunter Winter Series is a permit status event catering for athletes preparing for school competitions, overseas competitions or winter training hitouts. Some basic details are listed below, a detailed timetable and online entry will be available soon. Athltetics NSW invites both registered members and non-registered athletes.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Athletics Australia has granted this meet an AA permit, thus ratifying the event and allowing athletes to qualify for International Championships. If an athlete is attempting a qualifying mark you must notify Scott Westcott of your intentions via email to email@example.com by midday Thursday May 23rd.
Time: 9am - 12pm
Winter Series 1 Events

Cost: $10 per athlete on the day or $5 per athlete online
Non registered athletes: Are able to compete but must take out the minimum ANSW Community Athlete membership of $10. You will be able to compete at all THREE winter series events with this membership.
All laned track events will be run as either men or women's events.
All events will be mixed (unless requested otherwise) so athletes of similar ability will compete together.
Throws and Long Jump:
A performance standard must be obtained in the first 3 attemps for athletes to sequre 6 attempts. PLEASE SEE THE RULES OF COMPETITION DOWNLOAD BELOW.
