The 2019 Hunter Track Classic will take place at the Hunter Sports Centre, on Friday, January 25th, 2019. This is an invitational event to high performance athletes, who will be selected to compete in each of the events on offer for this competition.
Tickets for this event will be available at the gate. Gates open at 4:00pm (approx.) with the first event starting at 6:00pm (approx.)

The list of events that will be run at this year's Hunter Track Classic are as follows:
Women's 100m - Men's 100m - Women's 600m - Men's 600m - Women's 1500m - Men's 1500m - Women's 5000m - Men's 110m Hurdles - Women's 100m Hurdles - Men's Steeplechase
Women's Hammer Throw - Women's High Jump - Women's Triple Jump - Men's High Jump - Men's Triple Jump - Men's Shot Put - Men's Discus
These events are permitted by Athletics Australia (AA). An AA permit allows athletes to qualify for international events and break state and/or national records.
All events will be conducted in the Open age category.
Competition numbers will be provided for the event, and need to be worn on the front and back of the athlete's uniform (except jumps events, where the number needs to be worn only on the front).

There will be on the day entries allowed for Hunter's Fastest Kid and the TrackRun Mile events up until 1 hour prior to each event.
The Hunter's Fastest Kid age groups will be U10, U12, U15 and U17. Age groups for the Fastest Kid event will be calculated as of 31st December 2019. The Community Track Run will be run as an all ages event.
On-The-Day Check In
Please check-in AT LEAST 60 MINUTES before your first event. There will be no on-the-day entries accepted for this competition.

- Women's 40-49 Years 800m Final
There are many opportunities to volunteer at the Hunter Track Classic. We have roles ranging from basket handlers to minibus drivers to assist with athlete transport. All those who volunteer will be provided with free entry into the Hunter Track Classic along with an additional ticket for a family member or friend.
