2015 Talent ID Day:
This identification day is to discover the next crop of talented young kids (8-14 years old). These selected athletes will get access to expert coaching by National and International athletes under the supervision of a highly qualified and expert coach Zsuzsa Olgyay-Szabo (Bronze medallist in World Indoor Championships in pole vault; Athletics Australia / NSWIS event coach pole vault and multi events; coach of Angus Armstrong Australian Open Champion in pole vault, Jack Hicking 7th in World Junior Championships in pole vault, Alysha Burnett 5th in World Youth Championships in heptathlon, Kyle Cranston 2nd in Australian Open Championships in decathlon and more).
These training sessions will be provided through a proven skill development system (suited for age development) and a well proven technical model for all events:
Ensure athletes will learn the right skills for the right age.
Ensure athletes can choose the most suitable event for themselves.
Ensure the athletes will receive expert coaching on the most suitable level to succeed at the highest level.
Being a part of this training squad will provide the athletes with opportunities to try and improve:
In a variety of different events like hurdles, sprint, shot put, discus, javelin, long jump, high jump.
In pole vault which is an event with lots of excitement and great opportunity to win medals in state, national and international level.
In general skills, running technique and coordination.
In basic gymnastics skills like trampoline, high bar, rings, parallel bar etc, that can significantly improve the athlete’s skills, awareness in the air and body tension.
