One of Athletics NSW’s finest ever coaches and great sports administrator, John Atterton, was recently diagnosed with the disease Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Sadly at 81 years the energetic Atterton has been forced to slow down physically, but his mind is still as sharp as ever and he continues to coach some of NSW finest distance runners.
