Coach Profile – Andae Kalemusic

Five years ago when endurance coach Andae Kalemusic moved from the Blue Mountains, it was a loss for the area of a talented and passionate coach. But it was not long before she re-emerged coaching on the South Coast and suddenly it was obvious there was something happening in coaching on the NSW South Coast with more athletes appearing at state and national titles. In less than two years Kalemusic has already seen tremendous success with Jaylah Hancock-Cameron placing an outstanding fourth at the national championships in December. There will be many more achievements for Kalemusic’s athletes, but she brings so much more to the area than quality coaching. She generates a great environment for athletes to achieve their best, whatever that is, and friendship and comradery amongst the squad in a positive atmosphere. The NSW South Coast is indeed fortunate to have Andae Kalemusic coaching in its midst.

In this interview we learn more about Kalemusic, her coaching philosophy and mentors. About her own career as an athlete and her coaching highlights to date.
